County Leitrim
Beginning north in County Leitrim, Tynte Lodge is located along the Tullaghan Coastal Park. Be sure to check out a local favourite, Glencar Waterfall. The waterfall is 50 feet high and is situated at Glencar Lough, creating a magical atmosphere.

County Sligo
The Caves of Keash, located in County Sligo, are a remarkable series of limestone caverns steeped in history and myth. Perched high on the western slopes of Keshcorran Hill, these ancient caves offer stunning panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Legend has it that these caves were once the dwellings of ancient Irish kings and mythical figures. Visitors to the Caves of Keash can explore the intriguing natural formations and imagine the rich tapestry of history and folklore that surrounds this fascinating site.

It wouldn’t be a trip to Sligo without seeing the magnificent mountain, Benbulben. The majestic mountain peaks at 526 metres and has a unique flat shape with steep edges covered in a bed of bright green grass. At the top, you can take in breathtaking views over Slieve League in Donegal.

County Roscommon
A 30-minute trip southeast will land you at McDermott’s Castle in Roscommon. This hidden gem is located on a little green island known as Castle Island in the middle of Lough Key. It is near Lough Key Forest Park which is home to hectares of picturesque wood and parkland with a lake and several wooded islands.

County Galway
Perched on the shores of Galway Bay, Dunguaire Castle is said to be one of the prettiest fortresses in Ireland. The stone tower house has a long history stretching back to medieval times. Dunguaire Castle is one of the most photographed castles in Ireland. Set against Galway Bay, the landscape of shimmering water and low rolling hills provides an unforgettable backdrop for the historic and charming tower. Take time to climb the knoll and admire the scenery. The castle has been restored and converted into a small museum and banquet hall.

County Clare
One of the country's most iconic natural attractions, the Cliffs of Moher, stretches more than 14 kilometres along the Atlantic Ocean. These majestic cliffs formed more than 300 million years ago, are renowned for their dramatic, rugged beauty and are home to a diverse array of wildlife, including colonies of seabirds such as puffins and razorbills. Visitors are drawn to the stunning scenic walking trails and the rich cultural and geological history.

Heading west, you’ll land in beautiful Waterford, home of many hidden treasures. The first is Ballydowane Bay, located on the stunning Copper Coast in County Waterford. This hidden gem is known for its serene beauty and rugged charm. This secluded bay, framed by dramatic cliffs and rocky outcrops, features a sandy beach that offers a peaceful retreat for visitors seeking tranquillity and natural splendour.
